Happy Blogmas everyone !
So I’ve been slacking recently on my blog posts. I went from blogging almost everyday to blogging a few times a week to just….nothing. I have been going through some things which have caused me to feel down, lose motivation, and procrastinate.
Truth is I quit my job just over a month ago. I chose to do this for various reasons, one of them being the fact that I wanted to focus a little more on my blog. Since then things got better up until about a week or so ago. I no longer felt the need to write, I was worrying about things I could not control therefore my energy had been somewhere else other than my blog.
Don’t you ever get those days where you wake up in the morning, plan your day;
- Run errands
- Food Shop
By the time you finish cleaning the tiredness kicks in and you’re in for a day of constant naps, Uber eats and a whole series of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I’m a very creative person and my mind is full of many great ideas I just find it hard to stay focused/motivated.
Have you ever been excited about writing a blog post and then half way through you pick up your phone and start watching back to back pimple popping videos on YouTube. Don’t be grossed out I know I’m not the only one Lol. I just can’t seem to stay focused 95% of the time. Today I managed to create a new Logo for myself which I spent about 2 hours creating and it’s given me my blog spark back.
I have no clue as to how I’m going to maintain this but my goal for 2019 is to take my blog and my brand to its full potential.

- How do you deal with writer’s block?
