Why Relationships Are Hard For Someone That Overthinks

This is an article I found on Facebook a while back. It resonated with me so much that I had to share it with you all.

(P.s I do not own any rights to this post, neither was it written by me) Continue reading “Why Relationships Are Hard For Someone That Overthinks”

You Deserve Better

We should all want more for ourselves. Whether it’s more money, a better place to live, a better job, the relationship of our dreams or that car you’re trying so hard to save up for. We seem to have a tendency to settle and go on as if we can’t get any better.  We should go for what we want. What we deserve. Continue reading “You Deserve Better”

Relationships Aren’t Easy For Me

If you ask anyone that has ever been in a relationship they’d tell you the same thing. Relationships aren’t easy. Take me for instance, someone that has gone through heartbreak after heartbreak, disappointment after disappointment you slowly start to distance yourself with all things in relation to being in love again. Am I Depressed?

Recently I haven’t been in a good place. My mind has been driving me crazy and my stress levels, through the roof. Being a Virgo I tend to over think a lot of things and I make decisions based on my emotions. Negative thinking, not having much faith in myself and my ability to do things have always been a big issue for me and it has taken me up until now to realise that this is a bigger issue than I thought it was. Regular Communication

Ever get those random messages while you’re at work. Those cute good morning texts and those “Hey babe hope you’re having a good day today, Love you”. There’s no better feeling than having someone generally care about you. Communication is by far the most important part in a relationship. How I Got Over Heartbreak

Screen_Shot_2018-02-07_at_5.32.05_PM

Heartbreak is no joke, it almost killed me. I don’t care how ridiculous it sounds but it’s real and it’s a feeling I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Many have been able to brush it off and move on within about a week or so, some months and others years. Continue reading “How I Got Over Heartbreak”

What It’s Like Being With A Man In Prison

Most people would call me crazy some would say I feel your pain. Having a friend with an incarcerated partner baffled me until I was put in her shoes. I always said to myself that if my partner ended up in prison for whatever reason or amount of time that I would end the relationship. Continue reading “What It’s Like Being With A Man In Prison”

My Solo Travelling Tips!

IMG_8894
Yes you read that CORRECT! I took my very first solo trip abroad to Portugal and I loved every minute of it. I’ll start off by saying it was much better more experience than Tenerife. The people are so welcoming and friendly. I stayed in Lagos near the Algarve where the weather wasn’t too bad to start with and got a lot better nearing the end of the week. I’ll be honest and say it did get quite cool as well as a bit windy but apart from that the weather out there is lovely. It rained once and the lowest temperature was about 17°c.

What Past Relationships Have Taught Me (Part 1)

Put Yourself First

No one is in control of what goes on in your life apart from you. This I found very hard because I was so used to putting others before me. I cared too much and wanted to do everything and anything for him but not myself. It wasn’t until I realised that in order for me to be happy I needed to put my feelings first and look after me, do what I did for others for myself. That is honestly the start to healing from a break up. Continue reading “What Past Relationships Have Taught Me (Part 1)”
